Light and Truth

"Send forth Your Light and Your Truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to Your holy mountain, to the place where You dwell. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight." Psalm 43:3-4a

How is your soul?
Where do you meet with the Lord?
Has He become your joy and delight?

"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." -2 Corinthians 9:10-12

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power! Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Prepare your minds for action; be self controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
